Aaron Tilford works as a graphic designer and art director in New York City. Since 2003 he’s been editing, designing, and producing Spunk [arts] Magazine. For Spunk he organizes events featuring artists, musicians, performers, and DJs; has directed and produced video shorts; and curated art shows at envoy enterprises, The Center, and the Leslie Lohman Basement Annex. In addition to Spunk, his art and writing have appeared in Exposed: The BPX Zine, the JOSH, Lambda Literary Review, and Mary Literary.

Each month, Visual AIDS invites a guest curator, drawn from both the arts and AIDS communities, to curate an online web gallery. The web gallery increases exposure for artists living with HIV to an international audience, keeps alive the work of those we have lost to AIDS, and continues the tradition of innovative collaborative work.
